Yoga Nidra is an ancient, sacred meditation technique that is often referred to as “yogic sleep,” during which the reclining practitioner is guided to a deep conscious state of relaxation. Yoga Nidra is for everyone and anyone – whether you are looking to further your meditation practice, just need to decompress after a long day, or are dealing with stress, insomnia, or anxiety.
During this workshop you will be guided through a gentle, restorative asana (postures) and pranayama (breath work) practice to prepare the body for the deeply restful Nidra component. Wear comfortable clothing, & bring a journal/notebook to record any thoughts or sensations after.
